This smooth transition symbolizes the collective aspirations for a brighter future driven stronger and united in the face of exceptional challenges.

The newly installed 4th government grapples with a monumental responsibility: carrying the hopes and aspirations of an entire people on their shoulders during this exceptional time of strain. Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, the first seasoned leader to return for a second term, bears the weightiest burden of all. The decisions he and his cabinet make will reverberate across time, shaping the destiny of Bhutan at a pivotal juncture in modern history. The stakes have never been higher, and the challenges more tangible: His Majesty The King described it as an inflection point of our time.
