Follow up on RTI

The Ministry of Information and Communication received the draft RTI Bill from the High Court in June 2009.  It’s running 9 months and in mid June 2009, it was said that the Ministry planned on making the Bill available for the winter Parliamentary session (2009).
Mr. Wajahat Habibullha, who had spearheaded the RTI Act in India had also been invited and a workshop to discuss and share the Indian experience was organized. Some of my colleagues from the Parliament had also attended one day on invitation.

I am wating for some more information to be able to provide an accurate status of the Bill to everyone here.
